As an official NGO Member of the United Nations Department of Public Information, ARTIVIST is truly the only event of its kind, dedicated to Raising Awareness for Human Rights, Children's Advocacy, Environmental Preservation, and Animal Advocacy through international films.
Since 2004, the Artivist Film Festival has:

Since 2004 PETROBRAS has supported the growth of the international Artivist Film Festival Tour and Artivist Awards. Petrobras, a Brazilian company and the third largest company of the Americas, is one of the largest distributors of Ethanol Fuel in the world, with a 30 year history of producing, distributing and using ethanol from sugar cane as fuel for vehicles. Their Environmental Program is focused on water protection and biodiversity, supporting hundreds of projects that promote the rational use of water resources, and environmental education.
